The Role
Overview
Assemble, test, maintain, and repair traffic equipment, manage inventory and train staff.

Tasks
-Ensure equipment repairs and servicing are conducted per company safety policies. -Maintain accurate records of work orders and parts used. -Adhere to company safety policies and procedures at all times. -Manage fleet service programs, ensuring vehicles are serviced on time in collaboration with vendors. -Collaborate with vendors on equipment cost improvement. -Assist with employee training and supervision of shop helpers. -Complete work orders and accurately document repairs, including parts, labor, and costs. -Perform mechanical repairs, maintenance, and inspections as assigned. -Maintain and track inventory of parts, tools, and shop supplies. -Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area. -Record maintenance and repair procedures for future reference. -Collaborate with vendors to improve cost efficiency and ensure proper servicing. -Monitor and report on equipment repair statuses. -Perform regular inspections to identify malfunctions and handle repairs or replacements. -Maintain inventory levels of parts and tools. -Provide reports on work performed and suggest performance improvements. -Assemble, test, and maintain equipment. -Complete equipment check sheets and work orders efficiently. -Oversee and train shop support staff. -Ensure all equipment is repaired or serviced as needed.

What You Bring
-Strong work ethic and attention to detail. -Ability to climb, kneel, and work with arms lifted for extended periods. -Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. -Willingness to travel and stay overnight when required by project needs. -Must pass a drug test and DOT physical exam. -Proficient in basic computer skills. -Basic knowledge of DOT requirements related to fleet operations. -Comfortable working around machines with moving parts, petroleum, or chemical products. -Ability to work extended or standby hours on an "on-call" basis. -Electronics, hydraulic, and welding experience. -Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs regularly. -Ability to work in extreme temperatures (hot or cold). -Strong English communication skills and problem-solving abilities. -Hands-on experience in welding, metal fabrication, and equipment calibration. -Ability to disassemble, calibrate, and maintain equipment. -Strong communication abilities, with a command of the English language. -Familiarity with hydraulic and electrical systems. -Ability to operate a skid-steer (forklift). -Ability to walk and stand on concrete or uneven surfaces for at least 4 hours. -Meticulous attention to detail and strong decision-making skills. -Must provide basic hand tools.
