Assist construction delivery, safety, cost and stakeholder management as a junior commercial/quantity professional.

Tasks
-You will work as part of the construction delivery team, taking direction from the project senior leadership team and other construction managers. -You will commit to making a positive impact for our people, our clients, and our planet, and take ownership for holding others to account who do not uphold the Mace values. -You will be an advocate of Mace's value of safety first, and be accountable for leading and maintaining exceptional safety, quality, cost, programme, sustainability and project compliance standards. -You will promote a diverse and inclusive working environment and understand the importance of the wellbeing of the people you manage. -Developing commercial and financial acumen. -You will assist in the control and coordination of specific areas or packages, and ensuring they meet quality and safe working standards. -You will actively network, innovate, and seek understanding of best practice, utilising the full depth of knowledge of Mace group, the centres of excellence, Mace way control centre and knowledge hub. -You will build relationships with stakeholders, both internally and externally. -You will support other managers and junior members of your project team and provide an environment to share knowledge and experience. -You will support the construction delivery team in influencing the long-term development of strategy for a function or business unit (BU), creating a sustainable business future. -You will build a strong working relationship with your clients and support the construction lead in turning the client’s vision into a deliverable onsite plan. -You will provide support to delivery teams, creating a culture of ownership, promoting roles and responsibilities.

What You Bring
-Experience of building relationships with key stakeholders. -Knowledge of how carbon and sustainability considerations will shape the outlook of the projects you are working on. -Working towards membership of MCIOB/MAPM/MRICS/MICE or equivalent demonstrable professional or personal development. -Experience leading parts of construction projects within large, diverse teams. -You will possess knowledge of local health and safety rules and regulations relevant to project portfolio. -Experience in the successful delivery phase of projects and programmes. -Construction management expertise.
