Tasks
-Represents the company on various teams or committees regarding state, regional or national issues. Acts as liaison for the Company with customers and with state and municipal agencies to coordinate efforts. -Drive Excellence: Drives stretching divisional, functional and technical performance and delivers outstanding results aligned to the organization’s purpose. -Develops and implements annual business plan for Electric Distribution including O&M and Capital budgets. Monitors ongoing progress and reallocates resources as necessary to ensure goal achievement (Safety, Reliability, and Customer Service). -Reviews reports that document performance in meeting department, corporate, or regulatory goals and requirements. -Reinforces the use of data analysis within the teams for optimum decision making. -Responsible for employee goals and objectives while ensuring alignment with department and corporate goals. -Responsible for coordinating the Vegetation Execution as well as to contribute to an efficient plan of allocating vegetation resources for the operating company. -Grow our Talent: Grows, develops and promotes talent across divisional and geographical boundaries. -Build a Global Community: Promotes working relationships across team and geographical boundaries, building synergies, efficiencies and shared learning. -Leverage technology to improve business processes. -Oversees departments initiatives, the preparation of budgets and the tracking, cost control, and reporting of actual O&M and capital expenditures. -Responsible for leading the coordination between Manager Distribution Operations (field work), Planning & Engineering team (field planning & scheduling) and Stores team (material/logistics). -Oversee and evaluate work processes. Identifies and implements process improvements. Creates a climate of innovation, in which ideas for process improvement are continually encouraged from within the organization.

-Thorough knowledge of company, federal and state policies and procedures. -Show Technical Competence: Being perceived as a leading professional in their activity area strengthening and developing knowledge within the organization in their area of responsibility. -Business acumen. -Able to solve complex problems. -Advanced communication skills. -Bachelor’s Degree in electrical engineering or related field experience, with a minimum of 15 years relevant experience. -Mentoring ability. -Knowledge of electric maintenance delivery practices. -Project management skills. -Prior management experience. -Advanced negotiation skills. -People development skills. -Prior supervisory/management experience. -Master's Degree. -Ability to proactive monitor changing industry trends and develop appropriate strategies / plans. -Familiarity with budget preparation. -Able to multi-task.
