Supervisory Responsibility This position has no supervisory responsibilities. Work Environment This job operates in a professional office environment in our Florence facility. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines which create low-moderate noise. Summary: Provide Electrical Controls Engineering support for department projects.

Preferred Education and Experience • Knowledge of Allen Bradley PowerFlex Drive systems and AC motors as well as general programming skills a plus. • Knowledge of Yaskawa Drive systems a plus. • Familiar with UL, CSA, NFPA and OSHA requirements. • Previous experience in capital equipment design and manufacturing. Essential Functions: • Advisement and participation in all robotic and automation installations • Independently performs and implements projects which have a direct impact on company profitability • Develop a general understanding of the plan process and products • Troubleshoot Siemens, Allen Bradley PLC’s • Installation and troubleshooting of Fanuc or Moto Man • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics to repair/troubleshoot electrical systems • Knowledge of high voltage systems and distribution. • Knowledge of utility systems (water, air, hydraulic, etc). • Working knowledge of process controls technology (both current and past) • Excellent working knowledge and experience of a wide variety of controls hardware-Relay logic, PLCs including ControlLogix, and CompLogix, Frequency Drives etc. Allen Bradley • Proficient in controls and user interface software (FactoryTalk View ME/SE, RSLogix, RSLogix 5000, Panelview, and others) • Experience working with Ethernet • Proficient in Microsoft Office software product (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Autocad

Benefits

Expected Hours of Work This is a salaried, exempt level, full-time position with standard working days/hours of Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm with overtime as necessary to complete required tasks. Actual working hours may vary.
