IT Helpdesk Intern

Overview

Provide first-level technical support, troubleshoot hardware/software, and assist IT onboarding.

Tasks

-Contribute to process improvement and knowledge base documentation. -Support onboarding and offboarding processes, including account setup and equipment provisioning. -Help maintain inventory of IT equipment and supplies. -Assist with setting up and configuring laptops, desktops, mobile devices, and peripherals. -Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to hardware, software, printers, and network connectivity. -Collaborate with IT team members to escalate and resolve complex issues. -Provide first-level technical support to employees via phone, email, or in-person. -Document support requests, resolutions, and procedures in the helpdesk ticketing system.

What You Bring

-Strong communication and interpersonal skills. -Experience with helpdesk or ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira, Zendesk). -Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field required. -Currently a student earning a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. -Familiarity with troubleshooting techniques and customer service principles. -Must be graduating between May 2026 and August 2027 -Basic understanding of computer hardware, operating systems (Windows, macOS), and common software applications. -Ability to work independently and in a team environment. -Familiarity with Active Directory, Office 365, and remote support tools. -Detail-oriented with good organizational skills.
