The Role

Overview

Design and model civil site projects using AutoCAD Civil 3D and support project documentation.

Tasks

-Develop cursory knowledge of applicable codes and standards and use of applicable CADD and Microsoft software. -Produce completed plans for permitting and construction as well as concept plans, advanced planning, and master planning under direction of others. -Collect, organize, document, and communicate data and perform modeling, analysis, and/or design calculations of projects elements. -Organize calculations to be included in design files, following project standards. -Help produce a fully coordinated set of project documents including plans and specifications, inspections at project construction locations as well as pre-construction diligence. -Coordinate drafting of plan elements.

What You Bring

-E.I.T. and desire to work towards P.E. in the future, preferred. -Compute quantities and demonstrate awareness of relationships to pay items. -Demonstrated ability to work and collaborate in a team environment on challenging projects. -Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, and graphic (i.e., drafting fundamentals)). -Civil Engineering degree or related discipline required. -Detailed and organized individual who thrives in environments that are deadline driven. -This position may include the need to perform field inspection and may require travel to project sites. -Willingness to be adaptable to office and field inspection tasks. -Knowledgeable in AutoCAD Civil 3D is a must.
