Tasks

This role will assist the cybersecurity team in the design, evaluation, configuration, and implementation of IT security controls and platforms. As a Associate Cybersecurity Engineer, you will be a key technical resource to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring that controls are appropriate and correctly implemented. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development and execution of Gray’s information security strategy and the architecture and configuration of security platforms and controls. -Research and stay informed of potential information security threats, industry trends, emerging technologies, and response alternatives. -Monitor and analyze security alerts and logs to identify potential threats. -Assist with vulnerability assessments and penetration testing. -Help in the investigation and response to security incidents. -Assist in the development and implementation of security policies and procedures. -Collaborate with IT and other departments to ensure security best practices are followed.

Specific vision abilities required include close vision. -1+ years of experience in cybersecurity or a related field. -Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills. -CompTIA Security+ preferred. -Understanding of basic cybersecurity principles and best practices. -Knowledge of security tools and technologies (e.g., firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM). -Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
