Tasks

-Support enforcement of safety programs and assist with toolbox talks or safety meetings -Support project closeout by ensuring all punch list items are completed efficiently -Help manage deliveries, logistics, and jobsite organization -Review plans, drawings, and specifications to ensure field accuracy -Communicate effectively with project management teams regarding site progress or issues -Assist the Superintendent in overseeing daily on-site operations for active projects -Ensure all work complies with safety regulations, quality standards, and project specifications -Conduct and document daily site inspections and reports -Help coordinate subcontractors, materials, and equipment to maintain project schedules

What You Bring

A respected and growing Texas-based general contractor is seeking a detail-oriented and driven Assistant Superintendent to support ground-up commercial and multifamily construction projects throughout the Dallas area. -Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, or similar construction management software -Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills -Previous experience as a field engineer, foreman, or assistant superintendent -OSHA 30 certification preferred (or willingness to obtain) -Strong understanding of construction processes, sequencing, and safety protocols -2–5 years of experience in commercial or multifamily construction (ground-up preferred) -Valid Texas driver’s license and reliable transportation -Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents
