Tasks

-Participate in on-site client meetings to determine project requirements -Coordinate with engineers, project managers, and internal teams -Impactful Work: Support nearly 1/3 of Xcel Energy’s developer-driven distribution projects and contribute to wildfire mitigation efforts across Colorado -Provide cost estimates and create work orders using SAP -Execute contracts and agreements per regulatory guidelines -Secure permits and easements for construction -Interpret construction drawings to define project scope -Manage multiple projects from initiation to completion -Design utility facilities using GIS-based Design Manager software -Attend occasional field visits (~10%) to assess project sites -Serve as the primary point of contact for customers and construction teams

What You Bring

-Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook -Experience in design, GIS, or graphic design -Experience with SAP platform -Previous utility design experience -Strong customer service skills -Working knowledge of GIS or similar mapping software -Familiarity with underground utilities -High School Diploma or GED -Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle -Associate or bachelor’s degree in design, construction, or related field
