Tasks

-Respects the needs of team members and residents by adhering to schedule and documenting attendance properly. -Appropriately utilizes and keeps electronic documentation “devices” safe and secure within the community; efficiently documents care/services provided during the shift. -Provides basic housekeeping and/or laundry services when needed -Encourages and escorts (when needed) residents to meals and activities -Maintain the safety, comfort, dignity, and confidentiality of all residents -Ensures compliance with all Federal, State, and local regulations, as well as community policies and procedures -May be asked to obtain weights and vitals of residents and document same per RN request -Provide resident care to residents that include bathing, dressing, toileting, and feeding, as outlined in their care plan -Monitors and reports any change of condition in a resident immediately to your supervisor -Participates in and attends all in-service trainings as scheduled -Document all services provided in ALIS EHR for your assigned residents during your shift -Ensures all assigned residents are clean, neatly dressed, groomed, safe, and fed during assigned shifts

What You Bring

-High School Diploma or GED. At least 1 year resident care experience required. -Certified Nursing Assistant or Certified Home Health Aid -While performing the duties of this job, the associate is often required to stand, walk, sit, use fine and gross motor skills, reach with hands and arms, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, talk, hear, and smell. -Knowledge and experience in working with the elderly population, preferred dementia experience -An individual in this position will be required to lift or carry weight in up to 50 lbs. Intermittent physical activity includes lifting and supporting residents. The associate must use proper body mechanics.
