Assist crane operations, maintain safety, transport and upkeep of precast crane.

Tasks

-Works with the crane operator to erect precast concrete products -Assists in maintaining safety and maintenance logs for the crane -Ensures that the crane is kept in good operating condition -Assists in the efficient and safe transportation of the crane -Assists the operator in the movement of the crane -Responsible for keeping accessible areas within the swing radius of the rear of the rotating superstructure of the crane, either permanently or temporarily mounted, barricaded in such a manner as to prevent an employee from being struck or crushed by the crane

What You Bring

-Field: Must be able to traverse uneven ground, move minimum of 50lbs., spatial awareness/depth perception, climb on a flatbed semi-trailer -Ability to work from heights, including but not limited to ladders and aerial work platforms -Valid driver’s license and reliable means of transportation -Ability to carry out simple and complex verbal instructions -Previous experience operating/maintaining heavy construction equipment -General knowledge of construction practices -High school diploma or equivalent -Valid driver’s license with heavy equipment endorsement -Ability to work well with others and maintain professional conduct at all times -Ability to travel extensively (50% of the time or more, including overnights) and work overtime as needed -Ability to obtain membership to a local union
