Tasks

-Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to optimize sales efforts, coordinate customer service, and support site-level performance across assigned accounts. -Build and strengthen industry relationships while actively prospecting and developing new business opportunities to expand market presence. -Lead complex proposal development and RFP/RFQ responses, effectively presenting the company's products and value-added services to key decision-makers. -Manage contract execution and administration, ensuring all agreements are fulfilled according to specifications while adhering to established pricing and sales procedures. -Meet and exceed sales targets by implementing revenue-growth strategies and conducting ongoing account analysis to maximize profitability. -Represent the company at sales meetings, trade shows, customer visits, and industry events while maintaining current knowledge of market trends and steel industry developments. -Partner with corporate and national accounts through on-site and virtual consultations to identify needs and deliver strategic product solutions that drive results. -Maintain comprehensive account documentation in CRM systems while cultivating long-term customer relationships through proactive communication and consistent follow-up.

What You Bring

-Eight (8) years of experience in consultative sales, with an emphasis on value-based customer relationships in steel, metal or related industry. -Work Setting: Remote, requiring up to 50% travel -A proven track record of exceeding ambitious sales goals and driving growth in competitive markets. -Strong negotiation and closing skills, with success securing complex, multi-year contracts and overcoming objections to win new business. -Exceptional communication and presentation abilities that influence outcomes, build trust, and move deals forward. -Expertise in building strategic, high-value relationships with C-suite and enterprise decision-makers. -Ten (10) years of experience in flat rolled coated steel or related metal industry sales, with an emphasis on value-based customer relationships. -Must be able to travel occasionally and work at an outside location, overnight travel up to 50% -Must be able to work outside normal business hours/days as needed. -Bachelor’s Degree or above in Marketing, Business Administration, Finance or related field, or equivalent work experience.
