The Role

Overview

Lead and expand the Surveying Division, overseeing projects, technology, QA, and growth.

Tasks

-Build and maintain relationships with key municipal and private clients; lead proposal and fee development. -Ensure compliance with Georgia and South Carolina technical standards and regulations. -Lead strategic planning, budgeting, and operations for the Surveying Division. -Direct QA/QC processes for plats, legal descriptions, and digital data deliverables. -Integrate advanced technologies such as RTK GPS, robotic total stations, LiDAR, and UAV mapping. -Drive adoption of AutoCAD Civil 3D, Carlson Survey, and other field-to-finish software. -Mentor survey managers, project surveyors, and field staff to foster professional growth and accountability. -Oversee large-scale boundary, ALTA/NSPS, topographic, and construction staking projects.

What You Bring

-Licensed Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) in GA and/or SC (or able to obtain within 6 months). -Strong communication, client management, and problem-solving skills. -10+ years of progressive survey experience with proven leadership and project management. -Proficient with AutoCAD Civil 3D, Trimble, and GPS/Robotic systems. -Bachelor’s degree in Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or related field (preferred).
