Tasks

-Provide technical input and support across a range of capital projects. -Review project scopes to ensure alignment with desired outcomes. -Support and mentor graduate engineers and apprentices as part of their development. -Conduct technical reviews of design outputs and documentation produced by others. -Collaborate with both internal stakeholders and external partners to secure project approvals. -Carry out site visits, audits, and provide on-the-ground guidance to contractors. -Produce and review key design and compliance documentation (e.g. design drawings, CDM documents, specifications).

What You Bring

-Familiarity with current industry standards and regulations. -Proven experience in a similar engineering role within infrastructure or utilities. -Confident communicator able to liaise effectively across technical and non-technical stakeholders. -HNC, HND or degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related field. -Prior experience within the utilities sector, particularly with potable water systems. -Understanding of NEC contracts and CIWEM specifications. -Working towards or already attained professional Chartership (e.g. ICE, CIWEM). -Strong knowledge of CDM 2015 and its practical application. -Ability to work independently while also contributing to wider team goals. -Background in the design, construction or maintenance of infrastructure (both above and below ground).
