Tasks

-Act as AE BIM Manager, coordinating BIM execution across disciplines and supporting project managers in planning and delivery. -Communicates corporate initiatives and standards to BC or Project. -Evaluate and recommend BIM-related technologies and tools to improve efficiency. -Supporting project teams and clients through best practices in BIM execution. -Providing leadership and technical expertise for architectural BIM workflows. -Collaborate with consultants and subconsultants to ensure alignment with current BIM standards. -Serve as the architectural BIM lead on multiple projects, ensuring compliance with firm and client standards. Depending on scale, this could mean 1-5 projects. -Review models for quality, accuracy, and adherence to Stantec standards; familiarity with ISO 19650 is expected but not mandatory. -Support interdisciplinary coordination, clash detection, and digital QA/QC processes. -Represent architectural practice needs in Ontario Technology Team meetings and contribute to regional BIM strategy. -May be required to produce documentation or develop the BIM Model -Provide in-house BIM support, training, and mentorship for architectural teams. -Maintain and enforce BIM/Revit templates, standards, and workflows for architectural projects. -Develop and implement BIM Execution Plans (BEP), model matrices, and other digital scope documentation. -Driving consistency in digital processes and deliverables across projects.

What You Bring

-Proven experience leading BIM on architectural projects and managing interdisciplinary coordination. -8-10 years of experience in the AE industry, with 3+ years in BIM management. -Advanced proficiency in Autodesk products and common industry tools (Bluebeam, Newforma, SketchUp, dRofus). -Ability to manage multiple priorities and lead technology initiatives within a business center. -Familiarity with ISO 19650 standards and BIM best practices. -Expert knowledge of Revit, Navisworks, and associated BIM tools; familiarity with visualization and collaboration platforms (e.g., ACC). -Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 Suite. -Strong understanding of architectural design processes and integration with engineering disciplines. -Security clearance is not required but considered ideal. -Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. -Bachelor’s degree in architecture, diploma in architectural technology or related field (or equivalent experience).
