This role will work collaboratively with senior leaders across Design, Business Development, Pursuits, Preconstruction, Operations, and Information & Technology to ensure that procurement strategies deliver maximum value to the company, directly supporting Suffolk's long-term objectives. integrating the end-to-end building lifecycle to provide our clients with the highest level of value on our projects The EVP of Procurement will have national oversight of the materials procurement program and be responsible for achieving key performance indicators such as annual financial targets, operational excellence metrics, and the strategic expansion of the program's capabilities and scope. Build and Lead the Procurement Division -Drive the recruitment, training, and mentorship of a specialized high-performing procurement team, fostering a collaborative, high-accountability culture focused on operational excellence and continuous improvement. -Play an integral role is the evolution of Suffolk's Seamless Platform, centered on data collection, and -Hold full P&L accountability and strategically manage the procurement budget to drive cost savings while minimizing risk exposure -Lead material bids and pricing strategies, preparing execution strategies/plans in conjunction with critical internal partners -Develop and implement metrics, KPls, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the Supply Chain Vertical, leveraging data analytics to drive informed purchasing decisions and streamline processes for optimal efficiency -Oversee scoping, budgeting, and the integration of workflow management tools to optimize procurement efficiency and alignment -Identify and mitigate supply chain risks by diversifying the supplier base, upholding rigorous quality standards and SOPs for material usage on jobsites -Continuously identify opportunities for cost reduction through strategic sourcing and negotiation -Work closely with Suffolk's in-house design function (Suffolk Design) to support a strategy related to material specification on design-assist and design-build projects -Collaborate with Suffolk executives to architect and deploy a comprehensive materials procurement strategy that defines material scope, ensures alignment with Suffolk's long-term -Identify, evaluate, and build partnerships with strategic suppliers, executing sophisticated contract negotiations to secure favorable terms, quality materials, and reliable delivery

Job site walking. -Strong negotiation, contract management, and vendor relationship skills -Deep knowledge of supply chain and procurement best practices specific to construction materials and services -Bachelor’s degree in Business, Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is required; Master’s degree is a plus -15+ years in procurement, with at least 5 years in a leadership role, preferably in the construction industry or in a similar field -High level of integrity and commitment to ethical practices -vision, and establishes foundational policies, processes, and systems for scalable -Entrepreneurial spirit, self-starter, and adaptable to evolving business needs -Strong communication and interpersonal skills to influence and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders -Excellent problem-solving abilities and an analytical mindset -Proven experience establishing or scaling a procurement function, especially in a startup or high growth environment -Knowledge of estimating, construction costs, scheduling, purchasing and engineering principles and techniques, general contract and subcontract documents, drawings and specifications, and familiar with accounting and cost control procedures -High proficiency in procurement and ERP software
