Tasks

-Successfully represents the client’s goals and needs of the team and WATG’s requirements to the client -Manages timely and accurate billings and collections -Understands and manages the relationship between the project contract terms, the team assignments, budgets, and schedules, and controls the resulting impact on WATG’s financial results, forecasts, and staffing plans -Assists with the preparation of the contract, including terms and conditions -Supervises and mentors team members toward effective and efficient project progress and professional development -Maintains high-quality standards for design and production of the required deliverables on time and within budget -Creates detailed project schedules, work breakdown structure, and budgets, and maintains the work plan through regular monitoring and communication, and by making timely decisions and taking actions to meet project milestones, financial status, and outcome -Creates the project work plan and adjusts the work plan as needed as the project proceeds -Negotiates additional services as appropriate -Coordinates with the principal and marketing/business development team's efforts related to business development, marketing, and negotiation in the procurement of new projects and clients, especially as it relates to additional work/add services from existing clients -Leads effective team collaboration across service lines in external and internal project meetings -Monitors project processes and quality to make sure that design concepts meet internal and external expectations -Manages and monitors the day-to-day activities of the project team and their assignments

What You Bring

-Proficient technical skills, including Revit, AutoCAD, and 3D modeling software like Rhino, Grasshopper, and SketchUp -Knowledge of building codes, standards, and building structures -Experience with the full project lifecycle through post-occupancy as appropriate -Has technical strength in a professional discipline or specific project type to successfully write project narratives, research code requirements, review cost estimates, design and technical deliverables, construction contract documents, and sub-consultant work -Proactive problem-solving skills -Professional degree from an appropriate accredited institution -Environmental accreditation is desired when applicable -Professional license preferred -Minimum of 10 years of related project management experience -Excellent leadership, collaboration, and communication skills (internal and external) -Consistent track record of successful project delivery
