Senior Quantity Surveyor handling cost estimation, quantity takeoffs, budgeting, and reporting.

Tasks

-Execute meticulous quantification from drawings, design information, ensuring accuracy and completeness. -Implement and maintain robust project WBS structures to effectively track and control cost information. -Diligently obtain and analyse quotations and pricing from suppliers and vendors to support cost-effective decision-making. -Deliver accurate and timely reporting of project information, including professional liaison with broader project team members and stakeholders. -Perform in-depth rate analysis to ensure competitive and realistic project costing. -Develop and structure comprehensive estimates, bills of quantities, and bills of materials with utmost precision. -Conduct thorough verification of quantities provided by Engineers or Suppliers to maintain project accuracy. -Establish, set, and rigorously track project baseline budgets, ensuring fiscal responsibility and project viability.

What You Bring

-Expertise in Revit or BIM software will be considered a significant advantage. -A minimum 10 years of experience in the buildings sector, specifically in Quantity Surveying and Cost Estimation, is required. -Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) -Comprehensive knowledge of Structural and Architectural items and methods used in the construction of buildings (including Commercial and Residential complexes, Airports, Metro Stations, and Warehouses) is essential. -A degree in Civil or Construction Engineering is mandatory. -In-depth familiarity with CPWD publications is crucial, including: -A thorough understanding of contract conditions is essential. -Proficiency in industry-standard software is non-negotiable, including: -Demonstrate proficient knowledge of CPWD Publications, DSR, and other relevant industry standards.
