Tasks
-Lead delivery of significant regional projects, either as a senior advisor to the client and team or project manager. -Develop relationships throughout client organization and facilitate expanded connections for Stantec with the client to produce strong results in both sales and client satisfaction related to our delivery. -Actively participate in major projects, including contribution to written content, and serve in key roles such as Independent Technical Reviewer, as required. -Achieve minimum direct utilization target as set for the role, anticipated to be 5060%, subject to other KPIs. -Identify significant strategic opportunities that could significantly impact Stantec’s business in 35year window. -Work with and rely upon the support of administrative and marketing personnel to ensure efficient administration and reporting. -Negotiate appropriate terms and conditions and profitable rates in collaboration with Stantec Sector and BOU/BL Leaders. -Understand and evaluate Stantec’s competitive position with the client, major competitors, and potential partners. -Coach, mentor, and provide training and experience opportunities to staff. -Oversee risk management related to projects and pursuits including review of contracts, fees, and proposals on large pursuits and in coordination with the Business Operating Unit Risk Committee. -Participate in go/nogo evaluations and identify actions to improve scores throughout the pursuit process. -May provide direct supervision; act as an advisor and may become actively involved, as required, to meet schedules and resolve problems. -Coordinate regularly with regional leadership, sector leadership, and account management teams to review progress and metrics with a strategic focus on relationships and new future opportunities for growth. -Facilitate introductions for Stantec staff with clients, including Environmental Services as well as other BOUs. -Lead and/or support key clientspecific strategic positioning and proposal efforts. -Contributes to business planning for the region, particularly related to growth and business development investments, making recommendations to the regional leadership team. -Identify upcoming opportunities for both negotiated acquisition and competitive pursuits.

What You Bring
-Demonstrated experience in building and leading effective teams, delivery of integrated services, and contract negotiation. -Familiar with the breadth and depth of Stantec services. Identify critical client personnel for contact and have appropriate Stantec crossBOU and executive leadership engaged in fostering the relationship. -Minimum of five years of experience managing various programs or client accounts. -At least 15 years of relevant professional consulting experience, demonstrating progressive responsibility, leadership roles and client focused roles. -Familiar with the breadth and depth of Stantec service offerings and geographic footprint. -Excellent written and verbal communications skills, including ability to convey complex issues to a variety of audiences. -Is flexible, curious, and willing to assist the owner in matters beyond the normal services provided. -Good driving record and valid driver’s license required. -Understands and applies key business knowledge through research of capital plans, operating budgets, strategic direction, and client needs. -Has experience developing and leading successful teams that delivers excellent services and solutions to clients. -Strong work ethic, people leadership skills, and desire for team success. -Ideally have preexisting relationship and experience with clients within the Mountain Region. -Is forwardthinking, anticipates outcomes of current events and deviation from project goals, and advised on possible solutions. -Ability to work under minimal supervision with broad guidelines. -Be an active thought leader and have an online presence that aligns with Stantec’s business interests. -Demonstrate knowledge of the various sector (O&G, Power, Commercial/Industrial) operations and trends, particularly in the Mountain Region (AK, AZ, NM, CO, UT, WY, UT, ID, MT, NV, OR, WA).
