Overview

Oversee daily field operations and lead large-scale fiber-to-home deployments across multiple states.

Tasks

-Will ensure projects meet approved plans, specifications, and building codes -Participates in subcontractor and supplier selection, procurement and negotiations -Leads the development of Project Quality Plans and Safety Programs, and oversees incident investigations -Estimates activity durations and materials for complex projects -Provides leadership and mentorship to project staff and Superintendents -Reviews and updates construction schedules, addresses delays, and contributes to project schedules -Will set priorities and allocate resources as needed for the entire field team

What You Bring

-Problem-solving abilities and the capacity to anticipate and address issues -Comprehensive knowledge of construction documents, drawings, specifications, and current construction practices -Post-secondary education in Construction, Engineering, or a related discipline is an asset -Strong organizational and planning skills -Working knowledge of reporting and tracking of financial aspects of the project -Eight or more years of telecom or utility supervisory experience, with a proven track record of leading large, complex infrastructure builds -Ability to directly supervise craft employees as well as sub-contractors
