Field SCADA System Commissioning Specialist

Overview

Deploy and commission EPMS at customer sites, providing training and support.

Tasks

-Provide customer training, conduct device communication troubleshooting, and perform hardware component replacements. -Travel daily to customer sites, typically within a geographic region, with potential for up to 60% overnight travel at times. -Lead the deployment of EPMS at various customer sites including Data Centers, Health Care Facilities, Manufacturing units, Military/Government facilities, Commercial Buildings, and Universities. -Undertake EPMS software installation, customization, and integration, along with start-up, commissioning, and troubleshooting of electrical power monitoring equipment. -Collaborate closely with contractors and end-users, engaging in daily interactions within construction environments. -Consult with customers to define system operation requirements and document the as-built system.

What You Bring

-Direct experience with Schneider Electric proprietary software and relevant certifications. -Experience building computers or installing software -Proficiency in interpreting contract specifications and electrical drawing packages. -Computer proficiency in some or all of the following: -Familiarity with industry-standard communication protocols, computer networking architectures, and HMI configuration. -Experience with electrical equipment and knowledge of electricity, power generation, distribution, and power quality concepts. -A two-year technical degree, with a focus on electrical power systems or electronics, is preferred. -Experience finding, pinging and/or connecting to devices on a network -Some 2nd shift work possible at times. -Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in team settings. -Stable work history and willingness to travel extensively. -Experience installing virtual machines -Experience in Electrical Power Monitoring Systems, Building Automation Systems, Systems Integration, or Energy Management Systems.
