Tasks

-Pursue and lead new business development efforts pursuing a variety of planning projects across the rocky mountain region -Manage projects to ensure they stay on schedule and within budget, including managing subconsultants -Offer mentorship to junior-level team-members -Lead complex long-range comprehensive plans, small/sub-area plans, urban design projects, with a strong emphasis on community-driven design -Partner with architecture, civil engineering and landscape architecture departments on multi-disciplinary design projects -Lead presentations both in-person and virtually as a part of engagement efforts

What You Bring

-Ability to read and comprehend Land Use Codes -A talent for balancing graceful communication orally and in writing between Cushing Terrell teams and our clients -Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. Cushing Terrell will not sponsor applicants for work visas. -5+ years of design experience in Urban Planning/Long Range Planning -Strong experience in community engagement and equity-focused outreach -The majority of the time, a person in this role will be sitting in an office with limited physical requirements. This may require individuals to bend, stretch, twist, and reach. -AICP Planner (preferred) -Experience with ArcGIS, Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp -Strong relationships in Denver and the greater Rocky Mountain region preferred

-Actual pay will be determined based on the candidate’s years of experience, licensure status, location, level of proficiency, and other job-related factors (as permitted by law). This position is also eligible for an annual performance bonus.
