Tasks

-Work collaboratively on projects that have an impact on the sustainability and climate change goals/challenges for clients. -Growing client relationships, proactively identifying and framing new activations with clients. Leading and/or supporting the development of proposals -Supports in value creating decarbonisation plans that meet the needs of our corporate clients’ senior management and which can be effectively implemented. -Provides expert insights, guidance and support to clients and on how to translate decarbonisation initiatives and projects into value creating business models to ensure long-term sustainable business value creation. -Contributing to Anthesis’ innovation and thought leadership around corporate climate action -Contributing to the development of our service offerings to meet and anticipate evolving market needs, and sharing best practices with the team to transfer knowledge and develop competency -Managing and delivering target and decarbonization projects, including technical analyses, creating client reports and presentations that convey key messages, inform strategic decision-making and deliver impact-led conclusions

What You Bring

-Direct experience of modelling science-based targets and detailed knowledge of the requirements of the Science Based Targets Initiative. -STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Maths) Bachelors/Master’s Degree -Experience in delighting clients within a corporate context while challenging them to deliver maximum sustainability impact -Strong communication and consulting skills; particularly an understanding of the sustainability challenges that organisations face in today’s climate -5+ years’ experience in relevant work -Deep technical knowledge of SBTi guidance, Decarbonisation modelling and implementation (demonstrated experience in Scope 3) within corporate setting. Familiarity with GHG accounting and GHG Protocol requirements. -Demonstrating technical expertise and knowledge, ideally related to technology sector aspects such as cloud computing, data centers, and impacts of AI -Specialises in delivering complex target setting and decarbonisation planning projects, with demonstrated experience in Scope 3. -Experience in one or combination of the following corporate sectors: Technology; Food and Ag; Retail; Apparel with a good understanding of the relevant decarbonisation measures. -Experience with digital tools related to decarbonisation -Excellent client and project management skills -Operating and collaborating effectively with a mindset that transcends geographic and cultural boundaries
