The Role
Overview
Part‑time leasing consultant handling tours, leases, marketing & resident events.

Tasks
-Inspects condition of premises periodically and arranges for necessary maintenance. -Accompanies prospects to model/vacant apartments and discusses size and layout of rooms, available amenities and terms of lease. -Occasionally bending, stooping, kneeling, crawling, squatting, pushing, pulling and reaching above shoulders. -Plans and coordinates resident events. -Processes application for approval in compliance with policies and procedures. -Walks all move-ins prior to the move in date to ensure readiness -Assists with sending out all resident notices. -Adheres to all company policies including but not limited to safety and Fair Housing. -May be responsible for processing lease renewals. -Interviews prospective residents and records information to ascertain needs and qualifications. -Schedules move ins and completes all lease paperwork with prospect. -Follow up with new residents after move in. -Ensures consistent follow-up with prospects -Assists with all marketing duties including preparation of market surveys.

What You Bring
-Strong constant figure dexterity with the ability to grasp/turn. -Courteous, efficient handling of resident requests and complaints. -Frequent climbing of stairs -Experience with virtual and in-person community tours is preferred. -Up to one year of related experience or training. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be acceptable. -Possibly exposure to caustics, solvents, oils, fumes, flammables, pesticides, etc. -Marketing skills with the ability to execute a property marketing plan through outside marketing, social media and resident functions. Familiarity with the local market preferred. -Frequently lifts less than 10 lbs.; occasionally lifts over 10 lbs. -A valid driver's license and automobile insurance may be required. -One year experience as a leasing professional is preferred. -Working knowledge of property management platforms (i.e. Yardi, Entrata, Yieldstar, CRM) preferred. -Excellent communication (verbal and written), relationship-building and customer service skills. -Constant walking, standing and sitting alternately -Strong sensory skills such as good eyesight, good hearing, ability to comprehend, speak, write and communicate. -Noise level is usually moderate.
