Overview

Provide procurement strategy and advice to public/private clients on large projects.

Tasks

-Work with an outstanding team of specialist procurement and other specialist consultants. -To collaborate with a team on end-to-end procurement services for major projects or programmes. -To support the work-winning capability of the Contract Services team. -Support the development of the services provided by T&T. -To support the delivery of both team and wider business targets. -Supporting the delivery of strategy and/or development of documentation in a capital project or programme environment. -To provide procurement strategy advice to Public and Private sector clients.

What You Bring

-Preferably possess experience working in Defence, Utilities, Infrastructure (roads, rail etc) sectors -Security Clearance (SC) – currently valid or could be reinstated -Ability to develop procurement strategy within a project or programme context -Has achieved, is working towards or is willing to work towards at least Level 4 Diploma in Procurement and Supply. -Experience in tender preparation and development. -Knowledge of multiple supply markets with cross sector experience with Public Contract Regulations or equivalent. -Adaptable and taking Personal Responsibility to succeed the right way. -Awareness of a range of standard form contracts including NEC and JCT. -Experience of developing and awarding contracts individually or as part of a team. -Be able to manage activities and stakeholders. -Preferably possess degree related to construction, civil engineering, quantity surveying, law or procurement. -Experience of working in a strategic procurement environment -Understanding key commercial principles and techniques -Ability to collaborate and work within a team to achieve desired outcomes. -Good communication and stakeholder engagement skills -Confident, independent and able to work with autonomy without need for supervision.
