The Role
Overview
Provides quality support to UK engineering projects, ensuring compliance with KMS and client requirements.

Tasks
-To assist with implementation of the quality programme in support of business objectives, project objectives, client satisfaction, continual improvement and compliance with external certification requirements -Conduct sub-contractor and vendor audits and reviews as required; some audits jointly with clients. -Attend and support external 3rd party KMS audits and assist in close out of any actions -To promote UK Engineering’s quality programme within the framework of Kent’s Quality Management System (KMS) -Ensure Lessons Learned and improvements are identified and reported during project execution -Organise and prioritise work -Assist with the development of project specific Quality documentation where required within the guidelines of the KMS -Proactively engage with Project Managers and project teams to ensure Quality related start up requirements are implemented -Where required prepare and implement project quality plans -Support Management Review meetings as required -Analyse Quality data, including KPIs and prepare reports -To provide Quality input and support to proposals, projects and the UK Engineering team -Conduct regular check-ins with Projects during execution and at project close out to ensure KMS and client contract requirements are being implemented -Provide support, guidance and advice to projects and Engineering personnel on Quality procedures, guides, processes and quality related matters -To promote and lead business process improvement initiatives -Work with people at all levels to maintain, improve and implement an integrated quality management system -Plan, lead and participate in internal and external quality audits

What You Bring
-Experience of Pressure Equipment (Safety) Regulations and UKCA/CE Marking requirements -Broad knowledge of international standards, codes and specifications -Excellent command of the English language in both oral and written communication and skills. -Degree qualified in Engineering, Business or Management -Good coaching style, which infuses others with confidence and encouragement to continuously improve -Experience of Multidisciplinary Pre-FEED, FEED, Detailed Design and EPC projects -Knowledge and understanding of certification and management system requirements e.g. ISO 9001 -Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to take measured approach to delivery of the work
