Tasks

-Establish the SIOP processes to provide better market intelligence, improve demand planning accuracy, balance the supply and demand plan with a forward-looking view, and highlight areas of risk for contingency planning and decision making. -Proactively identify relevant demand trends and portfolio impacts, leveraging development of data analytics, as well as new product forecast refinement -Ensure that the agreed consensus forecast is passed accurately and at the appropriate level of detail to the production planning systems, on a timely basis -Coordinate with logistics and warehouse teams to determine optimal stocking strategies across select Rheem distribution centers. -Hold suppliers accountable for continuous improvement initiatives, including lead time reduction, schedule flexibility, quality enhancement, inventory reduction, and cost savings. -Collaborate with manufacturing to evaluate outsourcing and insourcing opportunities. -Develop inventory management strategies to maximize inventory turns, secure best pricing, maintain high quality, and ensure consistent support to manufacturing. -Leads and owns master data in support of efficiency and accuracy in plan -Lead inventory planning for select Rheem business units, guiding demand planning through a data-driven approach supported by market insights from the sales team. -Act as an internal consultant on supply chain-related issues; design and implement improvements to support business growth and strategic initiatives. -Identify key suppliers and cultivate long-term, mutually beneficial relationships to ensure sustained success. -Manage supply chain’s impact on working capital, ensuring financial risk is mitigated. -Contributing Respectfully - Sharing opinions, valuing ideas, sharing opposing perspectives with respect -Review, scrub and analyze the forecast through scrutiny of variances, historical sales trends including rolling averages, year over year data, research of demand drivers, and other customer and market related changes -Support demand planning process designed to integrate feedback from Sales, Marketing, Operation, Scheduling, Finance, Logistics, and Sourcing teams to develop the monthly, quarterly and annual demand consensus plan by channel, key customers and products. -Oversee the business unit’s logistics function, including development and maintenance of inventory controls. -Support global sourcing strategies for finished goods and components, playing a key role in supplier relationships with both Asian and North American vendors. -Proactively identify supply constraints and propose solutions -Ensure consistent application of industry-leading, continuously improved business practices. -Facilitate cross-functional meetings and demonstrate intellectual curiosity to understand how Rheem’s HVAC products serve diverse market segments such as retail appliance dealers, hotel and lodging, MROs, and HVAC distributors. -Create and execute communication and management of resources across business segments. -Leads the demand planning consensus process including taking into account inputs from statistical models, sales and marketing insights, and other analyses while collaborating with cross functional teams including commercial and supply chain. This position will also be responsible for managing relevant measures (KPIs) to help drive better forecast accuracy and lower error rate

What You Bring

-7+ years of progressive experience in logistics, supply chain, and distribution. -International supplier experience. -Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail and accuracy. -Master's degree in related field -Thinking Creatively – Applying creativity, seeking improvements, understanding from the customers’ lens -Proficient in MS Office Suite and ERP/MRP systems; Oracle ERP experience is a plus. -Multi-lingual proficiency – English and Spanish -Proficiency is working with large data sets. -Listening to Understand – Open mind, learning from others, accepting feedback, embracing the objective -Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively in a matrixed team environment. -Strong, results oriented leadership that includes development and deployment of improvement initiatives, timelines, and budgets. -Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, or a related analytical business field. -Experience in an HVAC manufacturing environment preferred.
