The Role

Overview

Fabricate and assemble sheet metal ductwork and components for HVAC projects.

Tasks

-Work outside, inside, and in dusty, noisy and hazardous areas. -Perform equipment start-up with associated documentation. -Oversee the productivity of crew. -Work in all types of weather. -Perform quality control inspections. -Perform some material takeoffs as necessary. -Perform some layout activities. -Perform planned maintenance tasks as assigned. -Perform trade-specific tasks on a construction site. -Ensure schedules and deadlines are met.

What You Bring

-Good physical condition and ability to stand for extended periods of time. -Ability to lift, move, and/or carry 50 lbs. -Aptitude for technical problem-solving. -Work in high places, tight places, confined spaces and/or other adverse locations. -Familiarity with building codes and current laws/regulations. -Technical troubleshooting and diagnostics when needed. -Expert knowledge of trade tools, equipment, and materials. -Keen eye for detail. -Ability to maintain clean and orderly tools/work area. -Journeyman or Master License required. -High school degree or GED preferred or equivalent combination of skills and experience. -Good dexterity and eye-hand coordination. -Climb, balance, squat, kneel and crouch. -Good communication skills both verbal and written.
