Power Apps Developer

Overview

Develop and deliver Power Platform solutions for client projects, handling full lifecycle.

Tasks

-Creates efficient flows by making use of industry best practices. -Working autonomously on smaller or low complexity projects, or as part of a larger project team responsible for a particular deliverable or area of delivery. -You will be expected to attend all training and other sessions organised by the centre of excellence, contributing through presentation of sessions or content aligned to your interests. -Makes effective use of advanced features such as error handling, parallel branches and conditions. -Maintains a high standard of technical delivery. -You will be expected to adhere to a structured development lifecycle that includes requirements definition, design, development and testing, user acceptance testing, deployment, handover and post-implementation support. -You should be able to gather basic requirements and create a task list to manage your own deliverables, including maintaining regular contact with direct stakeholders. -You must take responsibility for keeping your knowledge of Power platform up to date through self-directed learning and independent exploration of new tools and functionality. -The principal responsibility of the role is to contribute to the development of digital tools, processes and outputs, including collaboration sites and associated user interfaces, that support the wider project team and enable better delivery of projects for our clients.

What You Bring

-Good interpersonal skills. -A minimum of 18 months of experience with the technology stack is expected. -The confidence to ask questions, make suggestions and challenge the status quo. -Has expertise in controls, screens, collections and variable types. -Holds a Microsoft associate level certification (or equivalent certification issued by another provider) in your area of specialism, e.g. PL-200 for Power Platform. -Knows and uses HTTP connectors, Parse JSON and dynamic expressions. -The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team. -Demonstrates some expertise in PowerFX formulas and functions. -Any knowledge or experience of supporting tools and technologies such as Python, JSON, JavaScript, Plumsail or Lists would be a benefit but is not a requirement. -Excellent written and oral communication skills (in English) and presentational skills. -An aptitude for problem-solving. -Experience of integrating Power Apps with external services through custom connectors, REST APIs and web services.
