Tasks
The Senior Construction Manager is responsible for the execution of the construction phase of a project. Responsible for ensuring site safety is maintained according to the safety plan, maintaining the daily progress goals, ensuring installation quality is monitored during the entire construction period, and communicating to Project Managers. The Senior Construction Manager must be ready to take on unique challenges daily, with the responsibility of keeping a project on schedule and on budget. Acts as the Company’s representative when dealing with vendors, subcontractors, local authorities, and other stakeholders. -Monitors the training of all Construction staff -Responsible for communicating and upholding safety culture and safety policies and procedures throughout the project -Coordinates with Quality Control and Document Control to ensure the timely review and processing of, shop drawings and required submittals in a timely manner -Prepares and manages construction schedule and daily planning of work -Ensures Quality is upheld daily, and punch lists are generated and completed in a timely manner -Works with Procurement in scope of work development and the solicitation and pre-qualification of Subcontractors and Suppliers. Responsible for all technical evaluations of bid proposals and overall scope ownership -Coordinates submittals and RFI’s with Field Engineer or responsible design professionals. Recommends solutions to any issues that arise -Ensures all project closeout documentation, including project as-builts are continuously maintained -Champions Safety, Quality, Regulatory Compliance and The Collaborative Way -Ensures that Project Controls are maintaining the Contract Documents. Ensures they are at all times up to date, with all revised drawings, addenda, and Change Orders -Responsible for subcontract pay applications reviews and approvals -Participates in continuous improvement plans as directed and/or through proactive application of personal expertise -Assists in preparation of all project status reports -Promotes positive staff morale, professionalism and attitude, and assists to resolve potential deficiencies when identified or perceived -Develops and maintains continuous positive relationships with the Client and their representatives -Maintains a thorough knowledge and understanding of the company’s project processes, procedures, and policies and is responsible for enforcing the use and conformance thereof -Coordinates, communicates, and documents changes in scope of work. Responsible for capturing and communicating any schedule, quality, or cost associated with changes

What You Bring
EEO Statement Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor employment visas at this time. -Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering or related field is preferred -5+ years as a Senior Project Manager or 20+ years of construction experience -Construction Project Management experience is required -Must be able to communicate technical material to other technical stake holders and to a non-technical audience -OSHA 10 required / OSHA 30 preferred -High School Diploma or GED required -Experience in Data Center construction is required. -Be intimately familiar with Subcontractor scope of work, Subcontract Agreements, and Design Documents, for the ownership of construction execution on time and within budget
