Tasks

-Ensure project controls workflows integrate seamlessly with internal systems. -Mentor junior staff and ensure adherence to quality standards and best practices. -Lead resource planning for all current and upcoming design projects. -Support the development and tracking of performance KPIs and operational enhancements. -Oversee preparation of design schedules (Master L1–L3) and monitor progress against baseline programs. -Provide early warnings on deviations and recommend corrective actions. -Establish, lead, and refine project control systems—including schedule planning, cost monitoring, resource management, and performance tracking. -Lead implementation and integration of digital tools such as Oracle, PMIS, and other project management platforms. -Prepare monthly reports, dashboards, KPI trackers, and executive summaries for senior leadership. -Monitor deliverables, deadlines, and production efficiency across architectural, structural, MEP, landscape, and other design teams. -Ensure consistent tracking of progress through all design stages. -Coordinate with discipline leads, project managers, and design teams to ensure accurate planning of design activities. -Provide performance insights and recommendations to improve productivity and workload distribution. -Monitor design budgets, man-hours, and forecasts to ensure alignment with contracts and project plans. -Manage design change control processes, evaluating potential impacts on schedule and cost. -Foster a culture of accountability, accuracy, and continuous improvement. -Lead phased delivery planning for major design packages as required. -Drive adoption of standardized dashboards, reporting templates, and automated tracking systems. -Lead a team of planners, engineers, and project controllers. -Develop standardized project control procedures aligned with the company’s design delivery methodology. -Implement forecasting tools to project resource needs in advance.

What You Bring

-12–18+ years of experience in project controls, planning, or design operations within a design consultancy or engineering firm. -GCC experience required; KSA preferred. -Experience implementing PMIS systems, Oracle, or similar project management platforms. -Proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, MS Excel (advanced), and enterprise resource planning systems. -Strong analytical and reporting skills with a focus on forecasting and performance management. -Proven leadership experience managing multidisciplinary project control teams. -Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related design/engineering discipline (design delivery background strongly preferred). -Present insights on performance, risks, and opportunities for improvement. -Strong knowledge of the design lifecycle, design stages, and interdisciplinary coordination.
