The Role

Overview

Ensure quality control, inspections, and reporting for telecom construction projects.

Tasks

-Communicate with internal and external leadership, escalating out of compliance work, safety, or quality control concerns -Prepare and submit quality control reports -Visit project sites routinely, performing inspections to ensure work is completed in compliance with contract requirements -Conduct quality control meetings as needed -Develop and maintain the quality control plan for assigned projects -Responsible for all aspects of quality control throughout all phases of assigned projects

What You Bring

-Ability to learn and understand OSHA safety requirements and NESC (National Electrical Safety Commission) safety guidelines -Must provide a valid government-issued photo ID for verification; a driver’s license is required if the role involves driving -Passing of all pre-employment requirements (MVR, Background Check, Drug Screen) -Ability to safely work and navigate various terrains, managing equipment, safety equipment and tools -1-2 years of telecommunications construction quality control experience required (i.e. must have worked in a cable install/construction role for a cabling company, an electrician position where cabling projects were completed, ISP or OSP underground or aerial construction experience, etc.) -Ability to lift and carry 70lbs consistently -Ability to develop an understanding of company quality control program, company standards, procedures, codes etc. -Ability to complete work outdoors, in tight spaces and elevated by bending, reaching, twisting, climbing, and working while standing up to 70% of the time -Ability to learn how to read and interpret construction drawings and blueprints -Ability to travel daily to job sites in the area and open to a variety of schedules; evenings and/or weekends as needed -Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
