Tasks

The Accounting Manager II is integral to the organization's financial health, ensuring accurate reporting, operational support, risk management, and collaborative efforts across various departments. -Oversee the daily activities of the accounting department. -Supervise Accounts Payable, including processing and posting payments. -Hire, train, and motivate accounting staff. -Manage bank account activity for multiple entities. -Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless business operations. -Review and process insurance-related information as needed. -Enter monthly journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations. -Evaluate, develop, and improve department controls.

What You Bring

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounting Manager II to lead our accounting team and ensure the accuracy and integrity of the organization’s financial reporting. This role offers the opportunity to oversee accounting operations, enhance internal controls, and collaborate with multiple departments to support the company’s strategic objectives. If you are a skilled accounting professional with strong leadership abilities, we want you on our team. -Experience with proper procedures for month-end cut-off transactions and reconciliation of subledgers to the General Ledger. -Accounting knowledge of US GAAP. -Minimum of 5 years of related experience. -Excellent analytical and communication skills. -Knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) is required; NetSuite experience preferred. -High level of independent work ethic and integrity. -Ability to work with multiple entities within an organization.
