Lead US/Canada aftermarket field sales strategy, growth and team for commercial vehicles.

Tasks

-Participates and provide direction for the strategic planning process and monthly forecasts process. Responsible for the accuracy of data and takes actions to ensure sales team meets the forecast numbers on a monthly and annual basis. -Participate in industry events to represent and promote Eaton value proposition across the responsible product lines. -Execute monthly analysis of product line performance against financial goals and provide guidance to field sales team with recommended corrective actions (by region, territory, lines of product, or individual customer) with pre-defined targets and goals. -Provide leadership and direction to ensure professional growth for employees and retention. -Closely coordinate with product management and marketing team to ensure strategies are represented and aligned with sales efforts. Support and facilitate information to maximize the efficiency of product marketing and training programs. -Champions innovative ideas and takes action to seize competitive advantage. -Promotes open discussion of ideas; provides others with unrestricted access to information. Listens willingly to input and concerns expressed by others. -Advise senior management of customer and competitive developments that may have an impact on sales growth and profitability and recommend strategies and decision options to counteract market pressures. -Maintain budgetary responsibility for the responsible cost center. Monitors and manages sales team expenditures to ensure effective allocation of company resources and assets. Ensure staff effectiveness through recruiting, assessment of talent, training & development, goal setting, communications, performance appraisal, and conformance to applicable company policies and standards.

What You Bring

-Ability to analyze market intel and understand the impact to Eaton product portfolio. -Solid financial acumen and understanding of financial analysis (price, revenue, profitability, cost). -PC proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Power Point and Excel -Eaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position. This means that Eaton will not support any "CPT, OPT, or STEM OPT plans, F-1 to H-1B, H-1B cap registration, O-1, E-3, TN status, I-485 job portability, etc." -Minimum five (5) years experience working for an automotive manufacturing company in an aftermarket role and/or an automotive distribution company -Ability to develop, manage and measure sales incentive programs. -Bachelors Degree in Business Administration or Engineering -Sales team management experience in the Commercial Vehicle Service industry or automotive aftermarket industry -Proven interpersonal communication / influencing skills. Encourages communication and information flow across boundaries. -Minimum Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution -Strong business acumen. Capable to evaluate business opportunities, create business cases, and take calculated risk in order to achieve breakthrough results. -Ability to develop relationships with key stakeholders in the industry and within the organization. Foster alignment and cooperation across functions. -Minimum five (5) years sales leadership experience -Understanding and demonstrated ability to evaluate competitors’ strategies, technologies, and capabilities and create strategies to drive growth.
