What You Bring

Education : technical diploma in drafting, electrical drafting, or electrical engineering technology is common. Some roles may prefer a Bachelor's degree or relevant experience as an electrician. Technical Skills Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks, MicroStation, E-Plan) is essential. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, components, wiring, circuitry, and design principles is required. Soft Skills Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy, strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication and collaboration skills, and effective time management are critical for success in this role. Experience/Certifications Proven experience (often 2+ years) as an electrical draftsman is typically required. American Design Drafting Association (ADDA) certification is often a preferred qualification.
