Tasks

-Conduct research and analysis on planning and environmental matters. -Contribute to the preparation of development applications under relevant legislation and planning schemes. -Liaise with government agencies, consultants, and community stakeholders. -Draft reports, briefing notes, and stakeholder correspondence. -Participate in site visits and community engagement activities, helping shape sustainable outcomes. -Assist with preparing and coordinating planning and environmental approvals. -Support due diligence assessments for infrastructure and development projects.

What You Bring

-Awareness of heritage, biodiversity, or climate adaptation in project planning. -Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic GIS tools. -Previous work experience or internships in a planning or environmental field. -A collaborative mindset and analytical approach to problem-solving. -Understanding of planning legislation, environmental regulations, and development approvals. -Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail. -Experience or familiarity with planning frameworks, environmental assessments, or development systems. -A tertiary qualification (or nearing completion) in Urban Planning, Environmental Science, Geography, or a related field.
