Design residential interiors, create plans, consult clients, and manage projects.

Tasks

Develop plans, elevations, cross sections and detailed drawings, and advise on selection of colours, finishes and materials, floor and wall coverings, window treatments, interior and exterior lighting, furniture and other items, taking into account ergonomic and occupational health standards Prepare plans and specifications for the final interior designs in accordance with current practices and codes Estimate costs and materials required and may advise on leasing, real estate and marketing Develop detailed plans and 3-D models showing arrangement of walls, dividers, displays, lighting and other fixtures using computer-assisted design (CAD) software and graphics software May direct site work crews and subcontractors. consult with clients to determine needs, preferences, safety requirements and purpose of space

What You Bring

Communication and presentation skills Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or related field Minimum 1 years of experience in a similar role Willingness to learn and adapt to evolving design trends and technologies. Hands on experience with AutoCAD, Sketch Up, Revit, 3D Max, Illustrator or other design programs We are looking for artistic, detail-oriented candidates with good interpersonal skills for the position of an interior designer. The ideal candidate will possess a keen eye for design, extensive knowledge of architecture and design trends, and the ability to provide exceptional consulting services to our clients. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
