The Role
Overview
Operates excavator for digging, loading, and material handling on site
Key Responsibilities
- machine servicing
- equipment adjustment

Tasks
-May oil, grease, or otherwise service the machine. -Make necessary adjustment to equipment as needed. -Take actions to avoid potential hazards and obstructions such as utility lines, other equipment, other workers, and falling objects. -Start engines, move throttles, switches, and levers, and depress pedals to operate machines. -Signal truck driver to position truck to facilitate loading of dirt, rocks, and other materials. -Productivity tools: Utilize cutting-edge tools like Microsoft Copilot to enhance your productivity and efficiency. -Provide leadership to others through example and sharing of knowledge/skill. -Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals. -Comply with all safety policies, practices and procedures. Report all unsafe activities to supervisor and/or Human Resources.
