Lead Quality Engineer / QA Coordinator

Tasks

-Lead quality deliverables for individual projects, including development of Inspection Test Plans (ITPs), Quality Plans, Weld Procedures, Welder Qualifications, Manufacturer Data Records (MDRs), and project-specific documentation. -Monitor and raise concerns of quality issues in production, supporting corrective and preventive actions (NCR process). -Drive accreditation processes and ensure ongoing compliance with ASME and ISO systems. -Liaise with clients, auditors, and external parties regarding quality requirements and compliance. -Manage and participate in internal, external, and supplier quality audits. -Aid in the implementation, and maintenance of quality systems in compliance with ISO9001, ASME, AS/ISO3834, AS5131 CC3, and other applicable standards. -Actively participate in production meetings to provide input on quality considerations. -Support continuous improvement through the application of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and quality-related initiatives.

What You Bring

-IIW IWI-E / IIW IWI-S -Degree or Diploma in Mechanical/Quality Engineering (desirable, not essential). -Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with demonstrated leadership experience. -Internal and external auditing experience/qualifications. -5+ years’ experience in a QA/QC role within a manufacturing environment. -Strong problem-solving, analytical, and computer literacy skills. -CSWIP 3.2 Senior Welding Inspector -Relevant certifications highly regarded: -Proven knowledge of quality systems and standards: ISO9001, ISO 14001 & ISO 45001, ASME, ISO3834, AS5131 CC3. -AS 2214 Welding Supervisor (Structural Steel) -AS 1796 Certificate 10 (Welding Supervisor – Pressure Equipment)
