Tasks
The Regional Vice President, Senior Living is a key executive leadership role reporting to the Executive Vice President, and accountable for the growing new and existing business, managing governance, operational excellence while meeting and exceeding regional revenue and profitability. The role spans three provinces and has four direct reports. -Work closely with our strategic internal business partners) e/g People and Culture, Labour Relations, Procurement) to drive business optimization -Attract, develop and retain associates; develop succession planning and provide a safe and supportive work environment -Execute on company and client KPI. -Act as the operational lead and subject matter expert on upcoming RFP opportunities in resident dining and environmental services -Lead the operational team; develop, mentor support -Foster a strong working relationship with Senior Clients within each district of responsibility; conduct business plan reviews, gather client feedback, and drive account retention -Set standards and communicate goals, expectations and objectives to operations -Grow existing and new business in the region/division by implementing and supporting new business strategies in collaboration with Compass support functions -Assist with increasing region/division revenue and profitability by developing budget forecasts and operations plans, assessing and analyzing operation capabilities and ensure adherence to budget

What You Bring
-Proven financial management skills within a strategic business mindset -Post-secondary education is required -Ability to lead transition with effective change management -Based in Alberta or British Columbia -Willingness to travel (10-20%) -Excellent verbal and written communication and decision-making skills -10 years of progressive contract services management or healthcare experience, preferably in the healthcare industry -Demonstrated experience managing multiple sites in both union and non-union environments
