Tasks

-Deliver presentations on project updates to senior leaders. -Manage siting, permitting, regulatory approvals including cost recovery mechanisms, and customer/community commitments. -Navigate emerging issues and drive actionable solutions. -Monitor contractor site activities to ensure compliance with National Grid SHES standards, Health & Safety requirements, Environmental legislation and OSHA regulations. -Lead strategic, critical, and complex electric capital construction projects ensuring safe delivery, within budget, schedule and scope taking proactive measures to mitigate risks and optimize project efficiency. -Provide emergency storm restoration support during weather events. -Build relationships and collaboration with stakeholders to understand requirements and expectations. -Lead continuous improvement of project management processes, methodologies, and tools. -Manage and co-ordinate Contractors and project teams to successfully deliver projects to time, cost and specification and with minimal disruption. -Monitor and control the investment throughout the process providing regular project monthly status reports including: SHE performance, milestone progress, risk management and competent, accurate and timely financial forecasting information to support regulatory reporting including cost recovery, and business and capital planning. -Provide guidance to junior project managers.

What You Bring

-Primavera P6, Procore and PowerPlan experience. -Valid driver’s license. -PMP / CAPM certification, PE license or other relevant certification preferred. -5+ years of experience within the electric utility sector in one or more of the following areas: project management, engineering, contracts, construction or operations. -Microsoft Office, Power BI, SharePoint, Power Point, Excel, Word and MS Teams experience. -5+ years of managing and coaching teams. -Comply with internal business management system (BMS) for major projects. -Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline or other relevant fields, coupled with significant experience in project management, engineering, contracts, construction, and operations. -5+ years of detailed project financial forecasting and reporting. -5+ years of experience presenting to executives.
