Manage system interfaces for railway signaling/communication projects from design to commissioning.

Tasks

Being part of the system engineering team, your role will be to act as the primary contact for all interface-related issues from design, construction to commissioning. -Test the internal interface of the management system. -Identify, understand and overcome installation challenges when developing the design. -Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure integration of signaling and communications systems with existing and new infrastructure. -Review of the 3rd Party Design to verify System and Interface Requirements are achieved. -Issue resolution between systems and civils. -Build a strong relationship with the client. -Take part of the development of applications that will ease the integration of the system. -Support the preparation of Interface Control Documents. -Ensure the management system meets the requirements of the contract. -Participate in technical meetings with the members of the project.

What You Bring

-Knowledge of NFPA and Fire life safety is a plus. -Previous experience in construction or rail industries. -Minimum of 7 years’ experience in system engineering. -Experience in system interface management. -Available to visit client site. -Good knowledge of civil engineering. -Extensive understanding and/or prior experience with engineering lifecycles, delivery. -Familiar with Requirement Traceability Matrix (IBM Doors) and the Interface Registers tools. -Experience in BIM and associated tools is a plus. -Autonomous, rigorous, delivery focus. -Bachelor degree in Engineering. -Self-motivated and result-oriented.
