Assist in planning and executing resident and corporate events for GY Properties.

Tasks
-Budget Tracking: Assist in managing event budgets, ensuring cost-effective planning and execution. -Vendor Coordination: Research, communicate with, and coordinate vendors for event needs such as catering, entertainment, and decor. -Event Promotion: Work with the marketing team to create promotional materials and campaigns to maximize event attendance and engagement. -Logistical Support: Oversee event setup, execution, and breakdown, ensuring a smooth experience for attendees. -Resident Event Curation: Plan and execute engaging community events that foster connection among residents, such as themed socials, wellness activities, and networking gatherings. -Resident-Led Clubs: Assist in organizing and promoting resident-led clubs and activities, ensuring they align with community interests and company values. -Corporate Event Assistance: Support the planning and logistics of internal corporate events, including team-building activities, celebrations, and meetings.

What You Bring
-Organizational Skills: Strong ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines. -Creativity & Initiative: Ability to generate fresh ideas for engaging events and take initiative in executing them. -Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Familiarity with Canva or event management software is a plus. -Availability: Must be available to work 20 hours per week in-person in Philadelphia, PA. -Current Enrollment: Must be a junior or senior student pursuing a degree in Event Planning, Hospitality, Marketing, Communications, or a related field. -Attention to Detail: Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail to ensure seamless event execution. -Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication and customer service skills to interact effectively with residents, vendors, and team members.
