The Role

Overview

Inspect, test, and verify mechanical products to ensure compliance with standards and specifications.

Tasks

-Ensure all project documentation is completed, gathered, and properly filed -Verify test reports have been properly and accurately completed -Review pipe installations per P&ID -Verify construction against fabrication drawings -Verify unit or product is manufactured per EAS/industry standards and project documents -Coordinate with Project Manager concerning requirements of customer’s Factory Acceptance Test -Perform or assist with vibration analysis and dynamic trim balancing on fans -Perform inspections of all units / assemblies -Coordinate with Production Designers to resolve any issues during production -Audit units and ensure quality checks, records, and travelers are completed -Perform equipment verification per approved submittal -Perform welding inspections throughout production (if CWI- or NDT Level II-certified) -Verify all product tests have been properly executed

What You Bring

-Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, BlueBeam Revu, Gmail, and Cloud-based servers -Knowledge of ANSI/AISC 360-16 Specification for Structural Steel Buildings, Chapter N (Quality Control and Quality Assurance) -Ability to coordinate multiple projects, people, and functions -A.S. in Business Administration, Engineering, Welding, HVAC, or other qualifying experience -Strong leadership, coaching, and problem solving skills -Minimum five years’ experience in this industry or a related field will be considered in lieu of formal education as determined by management -Strong understanding of product design and manufacturing processes -Knowledge of plant safety and construction requirements -Certified Welding Inspector or NDT Level II Visual Testing Certification preferred -Excellent documentation and communication skills (written and verbal)
