Lead Costain Way management, develop processes, controls, and maintain certifications.

Tasks
-Oversee industry standards certification activities, ensuring scope and level of service from external support (for example BSI) meets Costain requirements and budget -Responsible for the implementation, use and future development of the Costain Way -Coordinate periodic policy review and update, supporting executive board sponsors -Builds strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, negotiating to secure required inputs and ensuring a collaborative approach to overcoming issues -Manages progress against certification / ISO audit plan, and works with Divisional leadership teams and heads of function to coordinate audits and share outputs -Promotes compliance with process and controls, persuading others of the ‘why’, and using influence and negotiating skills to find a pragmatic way through obstacles -Reporting and assurance engagement -Prepares and presents reports to senior management on Costain Way changes / update status, audit progress and findings / compliance data -Work with process owners to define, develop or update process documentation, ensuring changes adhere with governance requirements and industry best practice -Lead management reviews of the Costain Way, summarising review results -Lead programme of process and control improvement, drawing on assurance / audit findings and ensuring development priorities align with business needs and are agreed with senior management -Communicate key Costain Way changes to the business and gather and respond to feedback -Support functions and process owners in defining and evaluating controls

What You Bring
-Strong communication skills with ability to present and explain complex information to a diverse audience including senior leaders. -Confident in organising and facilitating workshops and adept at securing buy in and participation / engagement from diverse stakeholders -Proficient in use of Microsoft office suite, Adobe Acrobat, Visio and Icosnet. -Prince II or APM PMQ -Understanding of enterprise risk management -Good problem-solving skills and ability to identify, develop and implement solutions to meet business needs / objectives -Certified Internal Auditor (IIA) -Excellent communication, facilitation, collaboration / team working and negotiation skills -Extensive Internal Audit experience -Quality Management System experience and familiarity with ISO 9001 and associated requirements -Expertise in end-to-end process development and controls definition across multiple disciplines / functions -Six Sigma Black Belt -Understanding of UK corporate governance and assurance requirements, and market providers -Excellent team working skills, proactive in working with and supporting others to achieve team goals -ISO 9001 Lead auditor certification (CQI IRCA) -In-depth knowledge of infrastructure sector and common sector risks and compliance issues -Proven ability to develop, sustain and improve a compliant Management System aligned with business needs -Experience of leading small teams -Understanding of core business processes and controls (lifecycle governance, finance, business planning, risk management, health and safety, quality management)
