Tasks

-Conduct advanced spatial analysis and data modelling to support decision-making processes -Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into GIS solutions -Prepare and present detailed reports and maps for various audiences -Provide technical expertise and support for organisation-wide GIS initiatives -Manage and mentor junior GIS professionals, ensuring high-quality deliverables -Develop and maintain GIS applications and tools to streamline workflows -Design and implement sophisticated GIS databases and spatial analysis models -Stay abreast of emerging GIS technologies and methodologies, recommending improvements to existing processes

What You Bring

-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills -Advanced proficiency in GIS software, particularly ArcGIS and QGIS -Strong skills in spatial analysis, data modelling, and cartography -Proficient in database management using SQL -Master's degree in Geographic Information Systems, Geography, Computer Science, or a related field -Demonstrated experience in project management and team leadership -Professional GIS certification (e.g., GISP) is highly desirable -Willingness to travel within India as required for project work -Expertise in remote sensing and image processing techniques -Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail -Programming experience in Python, R, or other relevant languages -Domain expertise in urban planning, environmental management, or natural resource management is advantageous -Minimum 5-7 years of experience in GIS applications and spatial analysis
