Overview

Operate and maintain manufacturing equipment to meet production, quality, and safety goals.

Tasks

-Properly communicate finishing/quality concerns, service level statuses, and equipment performance issues to the appropriate personnel -Maintain strict adherence to safety rules and regulations, to include wearing safety equipment -Troubleshoot equipment to optimize production -Comply with all applicable OSHA, EPA, local regulatory laws, and company safety policy -Operate and/or work around mobile equipment -Work as a team to help meet or exceed production, waste, quality, and safety goals -Operate equipment to defined standards and product specification targets -Perform basic asset care duties to include routine preventative maintenance and cleaning of work area -Perform tasks such as lifting, walking, climbing, stooping, standing, pushing and/or pulling for up work in a loud/noisy, and industrial, high-volume environment -Efficiently use standard and precision measuring equipment (tape measurer & calipers)

What You Bring

-Experience using machinery -Basic math since we are dealing with Infor that requires operators to input data into the system -Experience in manufacturing, warehouse OR military environment OR completion of post high school education in manufacturing/industrial -Ability to work under pressure and flexibility to adjust to sudden work pattern or schedule changes -One (1) year or more experience working in a manufacturing and/or industrial environment -Basic computer knowledge -Physical ability to walk and stand on concrete for the duration of the work shift, in increments of up to 6-8 hours. -Ability to effectively and safely use a wide variety of hand measuring tools, wrenches, files, and various small tools associated with Englert machines
