Test blood, bone marrow, tissue for leukemia/lymphoma using flow cytometry.

Tasks

-Handle and prepare blood, bone marrow, and tissue specimens. -Participate in training on various benches within the lab. -Stain white blood cells with antibodies. -Isolate white blood cells through pipetting, aliquotting, centrifuging, and chemical addition. -Conduct tests for leukemia and lymphoma in the Cell Kinetics lab. -Run stained cells on flow cytometers.

What You Bring

-Bachelor's degree in chemistry or a human biological science such as Biology, Chemistry, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Animal Science, Marine Biology, or Neuroscience. -Experience with flow cytometry or cell sorting is a plus.
