Overview

Lead T&S parts team, manage inventory, sourcing, supplier performance, and emergency response.

Tasks

-Oversee and manage inventory obsolescence program for T & S material; including analysis of the equipment populations and spare parts. (15%) -Support and oversee the establishment new suppliers, evaluation of supplier technical capabilities for materials and field services, parts quality issues, performance monitoring of existing suppliers, and implementation of performance improvement plans. (10%) -Oversees the maintenance of PassPort contract, purchase order and inventory modules to ensure complete and accurate information. -Oversee and direct the planning and analysis of services and material needs, optimization of material availability and inventory optimization. -Evaluate potential market conditions and equipment availability; and establish and implement mitigation strategies. (5%) -Communication across business units, with Suppliers, and other stakeholders to successfully source and purchase materials and services. -Direct efforts to analyze and manage inventory levels; balancing cost control with appropriate commodity purchases to meet T & S service and asset management needs. (20%) -Responsible for establishing, implementing and maintaining the processes and programs aimed at optimizing the performance of the T&S Supply Chain. -Oversee and perform day to day activities including but not limited to: Create Equipment Bill of Material kits. Expediting equipment, parts, and services emergent requests. Identification of salvageable or repairable material from removed equipment and coordination of the repair of replacement parts. (35%) -Support the Business Units' Emergency Response activities as assigned as required -Support and perform in the development and implementation of short and long term strategic initiatives designed to assure the optimal inventory levels for Emergency Reserve parts, equipment, and replacement parts. (15%)

What You Bring

-Understanding of commodities, suppliers, market alignments and supply concepts and technical and non-technical clients. -Bachelor's Degree in business, engineering, science or related field with 4-7 years' experience or High school diploma or equivalent, with 6-9 years of experience -Excellent PC and computer skills (Word, Excel, Access, Power Point, Passport, Hyperion) -2-3 years of supervisory experience. -Strong analytical skills. -Working knowledge of the Inventory, Purchasing, and Accounts Payable modules of Passport (Purchasing, Contracts, and Action Tracking); and eSourcing tool. -Excellent communicator, written and oral, with strengths in organization, planning and negotiation skills -Strong project management skills. -Use and understand effective change management skills and strategies.
