Tasks
-Address comments from clients, classification bodies, local authorities, and third-party consultants, with assistance from engineering sub-contractors and discipline leads. -Review and comment on engineering schedules and planned activities proposed by engineering sub-contractors. -Monitor teams’ progress in delivering EIT engineering activities. -Be responsible for monitoring and controlling material costs and manhours within the limits of the scope of work, and promote cost consciousness among team members. -Monitors the progress of drawing schedules and planned EIT engineering design activities, including procurement engineering, design review workshops, etc., according to the overall project execution plans. -Act as lead representatives for the EIT Hull teams during key discussions and make sound engineering decisions. -Reviews and ensure equipment layouts are in compliance with the requirements of contracts, classification rules, and local authority regulations, and coordinate with various disciplines on issues related to material handling, constructability and installation, operation and maintenance, safety, etc. -Define scope split matrices for engineering sub-contractors. -Drive information and lessons learned sharing among EIT Hull team members. -Act as points of contact for reporting team members to escalate any major issues or bottlenecks and take necessary preventive/corrective actions to resolve them. -Review and comment on Hull electrical, instrumentation & control, and telecom system deliverables issued by engineering sub-contractors, such as design philosophies, technical specifications, electrical consumer lists, electrical load balances, single line diagrams, block diagrams, room layouts, deck arrangements, cable schedules, hazardous area plans, datasheets, I/O lists, cause & effect matrices, etc. Ensure the designs comply with the requirements of contracts, classification rules, and local authority regulations. -Reviews and comment on vendor documents. -Reviews MTOs issued for purchases. -Be responsible for planning and execution of relevant engineering work schedules in line with the construction schedules provided by project planners. -Reviews procurement engineering documents issued by engineering sub-contractors, such as technical specifications, equipment datasheets, MTOs, technical bid evaluations, etc.; participate in bid clarification meetings with vendors and assist in vendor selection. -Manage team coordination with other engineering disciplines (e.g., Structural/Bulk Design, HVAC, Piping, Mechanical, etc.) on issues related to design, procurement, fabrication, and installation. -Participates in technical meetings, progress reviews, 3D model reviews, and workshops; address issues related to EIT design and interfaces.

What You Bring
-Demonstrated experience in coordinating with multi-disciplinary teams and managing engineering contractors or design houses. -In-depth understanding of Hull electrical and instrumentation systems, including: -At least 3 years of experience in a lead role managing EIT scopes in offshore, shipyard, or marine projects. -Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or related Engineering discipline -Experience in managing deliverables through FEED and Detailed Engineering stages. -Capable of preparing and managing engineering schedules, MTOs, procurement documents, and technical bid evaluations. -Proven ability to manage changes, resolve interface issues, and ensure design compliance during reviews and construction support. -Strong background in FPSO, rig, shipbuilding, or similar offshore facility engineering. -Understand project and contract specifications and provide technical support in commercial discussions involving variation orders, scopes and responsibilities, cost disputes, etc., with various project stakeholders. -Minimum of 8–10 years of relevant experience in Electrical, Instrumentation, and Telecom (EIT) engineering. -Effective communication and team leadership skills, with the ability to coordinate across multiple disciplines. -Strong problem-solving skills and decision-making abilities.
